Husband and wife team Marithé and François Girbaud met in the heady, and revolutionary, days of the 60's, started up their self-titled fashion label and have not slowed down since. Specialising in casual clothing, particularly denim, their mens and womenswear is designed with an emphasis on comfort and wearability, but with avant-garde cuts and silhouettes. The forward-thinking duo, interested in eco-friendly fashion, have consistently involved sustainable fabrics and procedures, including laser-washing denim instead of bleaching to avoid water poisoning.
