BELSTAFF

Established by Harry Grosberg in 1924, Belstaff is the first business in the world to sell a waterproof yet breathable fabric which is now known as ‘Wax Cotton’. The company used a fine Egyptian cotton treated with natural oils which has made them incredibly successful. They now produce garments for motorcyclists, outdoor activities, and the Army along with a selection of accessories such as gloves, boots and goggles. Belstaff is also known for producing the famous ‘Black Prince’ motorcycle jacket in 1943.
