Introducing Cecilie Copenhagen – the label to know this season. Cecilie Jorgensen’s relaxed feminine pieces are easy-wear must-haves. The signature keffiyeh-inspired embroidered pattern can be seen on flowing dresses, summer-ready shorts or fun ruffles tops. The 22-year-old designer learnt to sew from her grandmother as a child. ‘I was always interested in doing stuff with my hands: sewing, drawing, painting,’ Jorgensen says. The first Cecilie Copenhagen top was born from a scarf the designer found in her parents’ basement. ‘I wore it out that evening and all my friends wanted it and asked where they could buy it.’ Describing her style the Danish designer says:

‘It has this looseness which is pretty Danish. It’s very uncomplicated – you can wear it on the beach, you can live in it. I love to make clothes for a woman to feel comfortable.’
